アリアンによる日本の通信衛星打ち上げ
Arianespace launch with Superbird-7 & AMC-21: Lift-off is set for Thursday, August 14
On its fifth launch of the year, Arianespace will orbit two communications satellites: Superbird-7 for Japanese operator Space Communications Corporation (SCC) in the scope of a contract with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) and AMC-21 for SES AMERICOM, the American operating company of the SES group.
日本の通信衛星Superbird-7が打ち上げられるようです。
打ち上げに使用するのは欧州アリアンスペースのアリアン5(Ariane V ECA)
Ariane Vは衛星2機のデュアルローンチが可能な為、アメリカのAMC-21という衛星と相乗りの様子。
打ち上げ予定（窓）は日本時間で8月15日午前5時44分〜6時35分
アリアンスペースは3月、4月、6月、7月の打ち上げに続いて2008年5回目の商用打ち上げ。
しかし悔しい*1＆うらやましいね・・・打ち上げは回数と失敗*2をこなしてこそだと思い知らされますorz
